Writing an assignment is a lot of work. Not only do you need to do your research and before you start writing, but you also need to write the damn thing. When you’re finally done, you just want to print it or send it off to your teacher, and not think about it anymore.
Ever felt this way?
But most students forget that writing is just part of the process. Revision is just as important as writing the paper.
You need not only to revise your content, but you also have to look out for grammar, vocabulary, or punctuation mistakes.
In my faculty, you can lose up to 30% of your grade for language mistakes!
Thankfully, I have always been good with that sort of thing (and I have grammar and writing classes to help me with that).
So today, I decided not only to share my tips to hand in the best paper ever, but I’m also sharing a wonderful tool that can help you ace your assignments!
As you know now, I have summer courses. Just as I have the past semester, I’ll have 5 classes, from Monday to Thursday for the next 13 weeks. For a lot of people, summer means fun, sun and friends, but for me it’ll be work, work, work. As I’ve done in the past, I’ll share with you what my first week of the semester looked like and what my classes are! (Read the fall edition and the winter one!)
Another semester is over! I just finished my last exam, and I feel so good! I can’t believe it’s already the end. It went by so fast! I’m not to sad to say goodbye to this semester’s classes, ha!
As I’m a in a cooperative program at uni, where I will be alternating internships and classes, I am required to have summer semesters. My internships will only start next winter, but everyone who is a communication major has to take summer classes, in order to finish our degree on time.
So I will be going to uni for another semester, starting May 2nd, until the very end of the month of July. I’m not too excited, but some of my classes seem quite interesting, so that’s not too bad. 😉 Thank God I have the entire month of August off from uni though! Once again, I thought the best way to kick off the semester was to set myself some goals for the next 3 months!
I did it! I survived my first week back at university!
Since you guys seemed to have liked My First Week at University post, I thought doing a winter edition might be a good idea. Who knows, maybe I could turn this into a series and post one every new semester? So here’s what my first week at uni this semester was like. View Post
For most of us, school has already started. I am curious by nature, and What’s in My Bag? posts and videos are always something I enjoy watching/reading.
This is why I today I decided to do a school edition and share with you what I carry every day in my school bag! View Post
