I am a big Marvel fan. So when I heard that they were coming out with a Black Widow novel, I was off the roof! Natasha Romanoff is one of my favorite characters, and I think she’s fairly underrated. We didn’t get to hear much about her background story through the movies she’s been in, so I was really excited to finally read a book about her.
I asked for it this Christmas, and my sister was nice enough to give it to me! The first thing I loved about it is the gorgeous cover. I mean, look at that! Doesn’t that look like a great book?
Natasha Romanoff is sent to stop a big operation involving her old teacher, Ivan Somodorov, the evil man behind the Red Room. While dismantling Ivan’s base of operations, she saves a little girl, Ava Orlova, in the process. Ava has tried to reach out to her saviour ever since, but the Black Widow is not really the big sister type.
Eight years after that night, when children start disappearing again in Eastern Europe, Natasha knows her old teacher has returned. But what she didn’t know is that she would need the help of Ava Orlova to stop him.

Have you ever feel left out? Have you ever feared you weren’t enjoying life to its fullest? Well, that’s FOMO. And trust me when I say that I’ve been in this situation more than I’d like to admit. I have feared too often that I was missing out on life, not doing everything I could to make it count.
In this spirit, Eventbrite, the largest self-service ticketing platform, is trying to end FOMO and get people into the habit of GOMO – Going Out More Often. They want to make 2016 about spending our money on experiences rather than on material things.
In that spirit, I thought I would share how I intend on GOMO and make 2016 the best year yet!

With the snow storm heading our way, I thought it might be a nice idea to bring back the TV Show Recommendations and present you my newest obsession: Quantico. I mentioned this TV show in my fall 2015 TV guide, but I thought it deserved its own post!
When Grand Central gets blown up by a terrorist group, Alex Parrish, FBI agent, is the prime suspect: she was the only one found on the bombing site. But things aren’t what they seem. Alex actually finds out that someone she has met at Quantico, the FBI academy, is trying to frame her. To prove her innocence, Alex has to dig in her past – and has to doubt everyone she ever met at Quantico.
Through flashbacks, details on the lives of a group of young FBI recruits and their instructors are revealed, bringing us one step closer to finding out who is truly behind the biggest terrorist attack on New York since September 11th, 2001. View Post
