Magnus Chase lost his mother in a terrible incident two years ago, and has been living on the streets of Boston ever since. He has seen his fair share of trouble, but never would he have thought that his life would take such a drastic turn. Until one of his relatives, Uncle Randolph, tracks him down and tells him about his birthright: a weapon that has been lost for thousands of years. Suddenly, Magnus’s life is full of gods of Asgard, wolves, and Doomsday. Sometimes, the only way to start a new life is to die.
Spring is my second favorite season, right after fall. While I may not be as overjoyed when it arrives as I would be with its opposite, I still cannot help but smile at the thought that spring is finally here. Since we’re almost there, I thought I would share with you my top 10 reasons to love spring. View Post
Spring break is finally over for me (but it’s probably starting for some of you!). While I finally had the time to relax, breathe a little, and think about something other than college for a week
(but not that much, since I was basically working non stop), I also know that I don’t have any motivation whatsoever to go back. I wish the semester was over already! Seem familiar to you? So here a few tips to avoid midsemester burnout and stay sane during the semester!
Productivity is one the things I struggle most with. Especially around finals, I can’t seem to find proper motivation! And even once I find it, I can seem to get anything done. I sit at my desk with the best intentions, and before I know it, a 10-minute study break turns into an hour of reblogging stuff on Tumblr. Needless to say that I don’t get anything done while doing that.
So I decided to share with you a few tips that help me to be more productive. Hopefully they will help you too!
With Spring break coming, you’re more than likely to finally have some extra time on your hands. Even if you might want to take that time to get some advance on your schoolwork, you also need to reward yourself for all of the hard work done during the semester. One of my favorite ways to relax is watching my favorite shows on Netflix. I cannot be more grateful that I finally indulged in getting myself a subscription!
I am not sure whether Netflix is actually the best thing that has happened to me or if it ruined my life…
This is actually sort of a TV Show Recommendation masterpost. I’m not going to include TV shows that I’ve mentionned in this series before, so go read my previous posts if those interest you! (because they’re all totally bingeable too)
Read about How To Get Away With Murder, Once Upon A Time, Shameless US and Quantico.
