I asked you in a poll on Twitter recently (make sure to follow me there if you aren’t already!) what kind of posts you wanted to see next on the blog, and I was surprised to see that 50% of you wanted to see book and Netflix recommendations! Those are normally not my most popular posts, but I just love writing them. If you know me at all, you probably know that I’m a HUGE book nerd, and I like to qualify myself as a professional Netflix binger (please let that be a real job!!!).
I don’t know what it is about fall that makes us want to curl up with a good book or in front of Netflix with a cup of hot chocolate, a blanket with, and fuzzy socks on, but I love it! View Post
As you know, Galentine’s day is coming. It’s time to celebrate friendship and remind yourself why women totally rock! I think it’s important not to lose sight of how powerful women are and that we don’t need men to get things done. Galentine’s day is also a great opportunity to tell your girlfriends how much you appreciate them and how much they mean to you. I gathered the perfect list of movies starring kick-ass and powerful women to watch with your BFFs on Galentine’s day. So grab some popcorn and get ready for a marathon! View Post
It’s a well-known fact that I’m a TV junkie. During high season (aka fall and winter), I can watch up to 12 TV shows a week! So trust me when I say I know my stuff. Who do you think my friends and family turn to when they need a show to binge? ME.
I wrote a Netflix recommendation post before, as well as a few TV-related blog posts, and since it’s been a while since I’ve last written one, I thought now would be the perfect time to write another edition! With fall on its way, you’re more than likely to want to snuggle up and watch something on Netflix. So I gathered up my favorite movies and TV shows of the moment so you have plenty to choose from!
With Spring break coming, you’re more than likely to finally have some extra time on your hands. Even if you might want to take that time to get some advance on your schoolwork, you also need to reward yourself for all of the hard work done during the semester. One of my favorite ways to relax is watching my favorite shows on Netflix. I cannot be more grateful that I finally indulged in getting myself a subscription!
I am not sure whether Netflix is actually the best thing that has happened to me or if it ruined my life…
This is actually sort of a TV Show Recommendation masterpost. I’m not going to include TV shows that I’ve mentionned in this series before, so go read my previous posts if those interest you! (because they’re all totally bingeable too)
Read about How To Get Away With Murder, Once Upon A Time, Shameless US and Quantico.
With the snow storm heading our way, I thought it might be a nice idea to bring back the TV Show Recommendations and present you my newest obsession: Quantico. I mentioned this TV show in my fall 2015 TV guide, but I thought it deserved its own post!
When Grand Central gets blown up by a terrorist group, Alex Parrish, FBI agent, is the prime suspect: she was the only one found on the bombing site. But things aren’t what they seem. Alex actually finds out that someone she has met at Quantico, the FBI academy, is trying to frame her. To prove her innocence, Alex has to dig in her past – and has to doubt everyone she ever met at Quantico.
Through flashbacks, details on the lives of a group of young FBI recruits and their instructors are revealed, bringing us one step closer to finding out who is truly behind the biggest terrorist attack on New York since September 11th, 2001. View Post
